Hey Dad, I'm David Pisarra
After graduating law school and passing the Bar in California I started my law firm and the first divorce I did they fought over the bar towels they bought on their honeymoon (No Joke - the ones that say Harp/Guinness/Bass).
I quickly learned how men are treated in Family Court and realized that men need help. Over the past 20+ years, it's only gotten worse. Especially for dads. The more time I spent in Court, the more I realized something had to be done to help these dads who can't afford a lawyer, but don't qualify for Legal Aid.
We all know there are almost no Pro Bono services for men, and as much as I'd love to take on every case for free, the phone company, the electric company and my landlord demand to be paid. So I had to find a way for dads to learn how to help themselves. That's why I started the Union of Dads.
When dads learn how to develop their legal strategy and gather the evidence they need to show the Judge, they show how and why they are Great Dads.
